KRAFTWERK SANETSCH AG RESTRUCTURES SUMMER OPERATIONS OF THE SANETSCH CABLE CAR – NOW WITHOUT VERBUND SUBSCRIPTIONS
The Sanetsch cable car is primarily an industrial lift for the operation of the power plant. Within this framework, it can still be used for tourism purposes.
In the 2025 summer season, demand increased significantly. With a transport capacity of around 80 people per hour, the higher number of visitors on peak days and during the holiday period could not be accommodated. To align operations consistently with operational capabilities and ensure reliable service, Kraftwerk Sanetsch AG is restructuring the offering. Starting from the next summer season, the Sanetsch cable car will offer only single and return trips.
